Who supports the electricity support scheme?

To soften the impact of the current energy crisis, the Government has adopted a series of measures aimed at protecting vulnerable participants, most of these legislative interventions being in favor of end customers. However, the legitimate question is raised whether, through the successive expansions of the electricity price capping and compensation scheme, the balance of customer-supplier interests is maintained. In the recently published article, the authors - Dragoș Bogdan (Senior Partner) and Mihai Stănescu (Managing Associate) - highlight a series of aspects that lead to the conclusion of a rather negative answer to this question.
