Valeriu Stoica – speaker in the competition law debate

The difficulty of competition law litigation comes from the complexity of the economic substratum of the case, a technical substratum, specific to each industry, but whose understanding by the court is essential for effective access to justice. The creation of specialized court panels can be a solution for increasing the quality of the judicial act, as long as this specialization is concrete, real and does not remain only at the normative level, and the specialization of judges is doubled by the creation of mechanisms that facilitate the courts to obtain of independent specialist support, especially in cases that require complex economic analyses.

The above were the conclusions of the intervention of Prof. Univ. emeritusValeriu Stoica, PhD - Founding Partner, STOICA & ASOCIAȚII - from the second edition of the "Competition Law - ARCON" debate, with the theme "Do we need specialized court panels in competition law?", event organized by ARCON - The Romanian Competition Law Association, in partnership with Universul Juridic Publishing House.
