Valeriu Stoica – speaker at the Civil Law National Conference

On 24–25 September, the ‘Valeriu Stoica’ Civil Law National Conference will examine the exercise of subjective civil rights and procedural rights, as well as the abuse of rights, from the perspective of legal doctrine and court practice.

On the first day of the conference, 24 September, from 15:45 to 17:30, Professor Emeritus Valeriu Stoica– Founding Partner at STOICA & ASOCIAȚII – will deliver a presentation entitled "The right to unilateral rescission and the right to unilateral termination, from the perspective of the abuse of rights in contractual matters”, in which he will analyse the relationship between the prerogatives recognised for the parties to a contract and the limits on their exercise, from the perspective of the principle of good faith and the prohibition of the abuse of rights.

The conference is organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, Universul Juridic Publishing House, together with the Romanian Journal of Private Law (RRDP) and the Romanian Journal of Case Law (RRDJ), with the support of STOICA & ASOCIAȚII.
