Valeriu Stoica – participation as a speaker at a conference dedicated to the present and the future of Europe

The symposium "History, culture and European civilization in the current context. Europe - challenges and answers" took place on September 8-9, in the "King Ferdinand" Hall of the Arad City Hall.

During the event, Prof. univ. dr. emeritus Valeriu Stoica- Founding Partner, STOICA & ASOCIAȚII - held the conference with the theme "Tensions between sovereignty and federalism present in the European Union, with a special focus on the supremacy of European law in our constitutional system".

The program of the symposium included a round table, with the theme "Internal problems of Europe", in which guests were Mihai Sebe and Gabriel Giurgiu, the discussion being moderated by Sever Voinescu. Another discussion had as its topic "External problems of Europe", the guests being Sabina Fati and Corina Turșie, and the moderator Sever Voinescu. On this occasion, the book signed by Sabina Fati, "Journey in the footsteps of conflicts near us" was launched. Kurdistan, Iraq, Anatolia, Armenia", published this year, at the Humanitas publishing house.

On the last day of the event, Prof. Univ. Dr. Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu held the conference with the theme "External relations of the European Union".

The symposium was organized by the Prefect's Institution - Arad County, Arad County Council, Arad City Hall, Arad Museum Complex, "Alexandru. D. Xenopol" Arad, Arad Museum Complex, County Cultural Center.
