The right to die, euthanasia and the right to life

In a recent article published in the Judicial Journal no. 2/2022, our colleague, Veronica Dobozi  - Partner, STOICA & ASOCIAȚII -, points out that the "right to die (natural)" is a transposition of the individual's autonomy and his right to dispose of his own body in the context of the modern, transhumanist vision of the human body, which seeks immortality through hybridization with technology, in various forms.

To the extent that man will transfer himself into a robotic form and/or transfer his consciousness into a computer or other similar technological forms, the notions of human life and dignity will have to be rewritten, as they will no longer correspond to the new determining realities for establishing society's values.
