The new Code of Spatial Planning, Urban Planning and Constructions

According to the explanatory memorandum, the Urbanism Code is to regulate the legislation on territorial planning, urban planning, authorization to execute construction works, quality in constructions and other related regulatory objects. 

In a recent article signed by Alin-Gabriel Oprea – Associate – and Ștefan Călin  – Junior Lawyer – they analyse the main useful changes brought by the Urban Planning Code, but, to the same extent, the shortcomings that may arise in practice are anticipated, as a result of possible errors in legislating, especially given that the legislation in the field is quite bushy and has a pronounced technical character.
