The conference "Secularization of the Sources of Morality"

We invite you to the "Secularization of the Sources of Morality" conference, on March 7, from 7:00 p.m., in the "Constantin Stoicescu" Hall of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest.

It is the first event in the series of conferences organized by the Thomist Angelicum Institute in Rome, the Thomist Institute in Bucharest and the Center for Natural Law Studies and Normative Analysis.

The guest speaker will be Ezra Sullivan, priest, Dominican friar and professor, who teaches moral theology, moral philosophy and psychology at the Pontifical University Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, Italy. His articles deal with some of the most pressing moral and spiritual dilemmas of contemporary society: from the use of marijuana as a recreational drug, to the impact of artificial intelligence on the manipulation of the individual, to the legitimacy of state-provided health insurance for the vulnerable, and to the justification of the use of manufactured vaccines from materials obtained from abortions. His books also discuss the importance of habitus in building moral character and the purpose of the priest in the 21st century.

Participation is free and is based on registration, by filling out the form HERE
