Following the adoption of the Civil Procedure Code in 2010 and its entry into force in 2013, the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and the Juriscope Institute in Poitiers (www.juriscope.org) had the initiative to translate the code into French. The book was printed at the prestigious French publishing house "Presses universitaires juridiques de Poitiers" in the summer of 2018.

To mark the launching of the volume, the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, the Juriscope Institute, the Henri Capitant Association - the Romanian group of friends of the French legal culture and the French-Romanian Legal Studies College organized the international conference "The Romanian Civil Procedure Code: seen from the inside - seen from the outside" between 01-02 November 2018, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest.

Rareş Răducanu (Senior Partner) had the intervention entitled "The legal regime of the procedural defense based on the lack of competence in the New Civil Procedure Code".
