New Rules in action", organized by the Society of Legal Sciences at the CCIR Business Center, in the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Hall, on February 21st. Cristiana I. STOICA held a speech having the topic "The lex voluntatis principle in the context of the new rules of arbitration proceedings".
Prestigious guests from the academia and from important law firms in Romania discussed the New Rules of procedure of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, which were adopted by the Court’s College in November 2017.
The New Rules, which came into force as of 1 January 2018, represent a help of the business environment. These legal provisions are intended to improve the functioning of commercial arbitration, in line with European and international best practices.
