Conviction matters on appeal

Our colleague, Paula Maftei – Associate -, published an article in which she analyzes the perspective of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the solutions that the Romanian courts of judicial review pronounce in criminal matters, in particular that of the conviction of the defendant on appeal, after the abolition of the acquittal decision of the first instance.
