About artificial intelligence in justice

In the recent articlesigned by Angelica Alecu– Associate, STOICA & ASOCIAȚII – the current state of the use of artificial intelligence in justice is reviewed.

The article analyzes, on the one hand, the beneficial effects that advances in AI technology can have on the judicial system, but, on the other hand, an alarm signal is raised regarding the possibility that civil rights and liberties are endangered in the absence of a well-established legislative and institutional framework to keep pace with technological progress.
