Victor Dobozi – speaker at a Medical Malpractice Conference

Over the past five years, case law on medical malpractice in Romania has diversified and begun to move away from the traditional, cautious approach of avoiding unjust enrichment of the victim through the moral damages sought. Consequently, increasingly substantial moral and material damages are being awarded, with both doctors and medical institutions held jointly liable, which places pressure on the healthcare system to reform the mechanisms designed to address medical malpractice cases.

During the "Doctor–Patient Dialogue” Conference, 4th Edition, which will take place on May 28, our colleague, Victor Dobozi – Senior Partner – will provide some practical insights and offer an accurate picture of the current standards and conditions for awarding compensation to victims of medical malpractice.
