STOICA & Asociaţii was set-up in November 1995, by the association of two Romanian pre-eminent lawyers, Professor Valeriu STOICA and Cristiana I. STOICA. The two founding partners dedicated their extensive experience they achieved in the legal practice as well as in the academic field, by forming one of the most reputed Romanian business law firms.

In an environment of increasingly changing legislative problems, since its creation until present, STOICA & Asociaţii has succeeded to demonstrate innovativeness and willingness in promoting the best legal solutions for their clients. Started as a local law partnership, by its constantly enlarged and consolidated legal practice, consisting in providing an extensive advisory activity for a great number of major and medium size corporate Romanian or foreign clients combined with a very successful litigation practice, STOICA & Asociaţii achieved international recognision.

In performing the international legal work, the two founding partners contributed, by involving their highly appreciated reputation, to the creation of strategic professional alliances with a large number of major international law firms.

The expertise and the experience of the law firm is reflected by the great number of assisted projects, including but not limited to corporate and municipal finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, banking, insurance, capital market, taxation, labor, intellectual property, competition, commercial contracts, arbitral and court assistance.

The law firm and its lawyers are registered in the Bucharest Bar, in conformity with the law regulating the legal profession in Romania, in force since June 1995.

The team of STOICA & Asociaţii has currently over 50 members of whom there are more than 35 practicing highly educated lawyers acting as partners, senior associates, associates lawyers.
