The Article “The Constitutional Court’s Decisions No 1351/2008 and No 56/2009”
The February issue of the law magazine ”Curierul Judiciar” marks the debute of the permanent heading “Newsletter”signed by the team of “STOICA & Asociatii”. This month’s heading makes a short presentation of Decision No 1351/2008 and Decision No 56/2009 elaborated by the Constitutional Court of Romania and through which the constitutionality of the Law on modification and completion of Law No 10/2001 is established; the Court thus repels as groundless the arguments exhibited in the two intimations for non constitutionality, intimations expressed by a number of 55 Deputies, and respectively, by the President of Romania. The article generally comments on the Decisions of the Constitutional Court and it is signed by two assistant lawyers: Alexandru Vartej and Bogdan Popescu.

Everybody is concerned by the present financial crisis. Especially due to its globalization. The questions come from all sides: how long will take this crisis? Are there going to be found solutions for the removal or at least diminish of its effects? Did by any chance the capitalism proved to be insecure? What Hill it happen to the markets destined to exports? Are the emerging markets affected by the crisis and in which measure? Is the globalization a solution which deserves the thought? Which are the models to follow, if such models exist, so that the life does not take us by surprise as it did with this recent global financial-banking crisis?

Preoccupied by the global situation of the financial institutions, we find less time for those events related really to our existence. The death of a colleague affects us deeply especially when this occurs in direct relation to his profession.
