She is a Ph. D. Lecturer in civil law with the Law Faculty, Bucharest University. During 1996–2009 she has also taught civil law and domestic and European competition law at the Law Faculty, "Nicolae Titulescu" University in Bucharest.

She is the author of several law books and articles.

She was a senior expert in European competition law with the PHARE Project for assistance provided to the National Institute for Magistrates. She graduated the law courses of American property law, organized by New England School of Law, Massachussets, in cooperation with the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University.
